Dr. Deanna SchwabDr. Schwab is a 1996 graduate of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA. She returned to California in 1997 and has practiced in Sonoma since 2000. In 2008 she completed a Fellowship at UC Davis in small animal ultrasonography and in 2010 became certified in veterinary acupuncture. She served on the Board of Directors of our own Pet's Lifeline from 2009-2015. Deanna lives with her husband Mark and dogs Hannah Banana, Mazie and Esmarelda Villalobos, and cats Houston and Dolores. | |
Dr. Suzie JohnsonDr. Johnson is a fourth generation native of Sonoma County, having grown up on a sheep farm in Petaluma. She graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, where she also earned her bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She enjoys photography (in fact, most of the photos around the clinic were taken by Suzie!), gardening, running and traveling. Suzie lives with her little dogs Rosie, Hairy and Penny, cats Liza, Eloise, Mia, Skittles and many laying hens! | |
Xochitl Fisher, RVTHer love for animals began at a young age, wrangling feral kittens & feeding them whatever meat she could find in her semi-vegetarian home. After graduating from the Los Angeles Zoo Magnet, she received her BS in Animal Science, Pre-veterinary medicine from CalPoly, San Luis Obispo. Xochitl moved to Sonoma in 2003 to marry her college sweetheart, Dave, from San Rafael. In 2009 she passed her California RVT exam to obtain her license as a registered veterinary technician. When she's not napping with her cats Spock, Fintan, and Peggy, Xochitl enjoys fostering kittens from Pet's Lifeline. Her hobbies include hiking, traveling, and petting as many large wild cats as possible! |
